CONTAINS
Glucosamine: a main precursor for synthesis of the connective tissue matrix, Glucosamine stimulates the production of glycosaminoglycans (GAGS), such as hyaluronic acid and Chondrotin sulphate, both of which are important in the production of collagen and ultimately connective tissue.
MSM: one of the most bioavailable sources of sulphur which is vital for correct formation of the connective tissue.
Vitamin C: for growth, repair, and maintenance of structural tissues, also has a key role in the production of proteins such as collagen. The antioxidant properties of this and Vitamin E act as a limit to the deterioration of the connective tissues by free radicals, thus helping protect the joint structures and prevent damage developing.
B vitamins 2, 6 & 12: to ensure metabolism is working efficiently, so growth, development and repair of the body systems isn’t compromised.
Vitamins A & D: are involved in the absorption, uptake and transport of calcium and phosphorus, a deficiency in this can lead to swollen joints, skeletal abnormalities, and lameness.
Magnesium: is involved in calcium and phosphorus metabolism and has been included to ensure the calcium and phosphorus from the diet is utilised correctly.
Copper: is included as it is involved in the formation of cartilage, bone, and elastin, which with Zinc are vital in the maintenance and repair of the joint structures.
Yucca extract: has been included for its natural properties that help to alleviate joint pain and improve joint function. The base of apple cider vinegar is also renowned for its properties that help joint function and repair.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Horses: 60ml per day
Ponies 30ml per day
In severe cases or when a joint supplement has not previously been used it may be of benefit to feed Horses a loading rate of 90ml for 14 days.
