Osmonds Hoof-Rite Eco Footbath Concentrate

A fast-acting acting safe and easy-to-use footbath solution for both penned and walkthrough applications.

A safe triple-buffered solution containing a unique blend of Chelated Minerals, Disinfectants Antiseptics, Wetting Agents and Cleansers.

SHEEP

SHEEP INITIAL USE:

Dilute at 4% with 1% Zinc Sulphate. Footbath for 4 consecutive days = 800 Sheep Passes for 100 litre bath.

SHEEP MAINTENANCE:

Dilute at 2% with 1% Zinc Sulphate. Footbath as required = 800 Sheep Passes for 100-litre bath.

FOR SPRAY APPLICATION:

Dilute at 8% and apply daily as required.

CATTLE

For use in footbaths.

Dilute at 2% with 2% Copper Sulphate. Footbath for 2 consecutive days.

Apply every 6-8 weeks.

No withdrawal period. 

*Osmonds Hoof-Rite Eco is more effective than Formalin over a longer footbath life. The pH of the water is lowered which extends the footbath by increasing zinc sulphate solubility.

Bath strength trials were carried out in Penrith, Cumbria (data 10.04.14) with 4% Osmonds Hoof Rite Eco
with 1% Zinc Sulphate in a 100-litre footbath.

Two x 100 litre footbaths were positioned in sequence, first bath containing water, the second bath containing the Hoof Rite Eco solution. There was a 1 metre
gap between footbaths with a hard concrete standing runoff area after the second bath.
